The East Bay Chapter of the California Association of Marriage & Family Therapists matches pre-licensed and newly-licensed therapists with seasoned therapists who volunteer as mentors. It’s a great way for beginning therapists to receive guidance & companionship in developing their clinical clinical skills, as well as in learning how to market their new businesses! It’s also a wonderful way for therapists with lots of experience to give back to the therapeutic community.

Renee Beck, LMFT is an East Bay CAMFT Mentor, an approved supervisor at CIIS & at Blue Oak Therapy Center, & is Clinical Director Emeritus at Holden High School, where she worked with teens & their families, & trained & supervised the counselors for over 30 years. She has  private practice in Dreamwork &Transpersonal Therapy in Oakland, & provides external supervision to MFT, ASW & PCC interns who have placements but need extra supervision to cover their client hours, or who want supplemental supervision.
